Equal Voice for Families is a powerful initiative launched and supported by the Marguerite Casey Foundation, focused on giving a real voice to American families living in or near poverty.

Originally started in the early 2000s as Equal Voice for America’s Families, it grew into a nationwide movement. Thousands of families and hundreds of community organizations came together to create a shared National Family Platform — a set of clear demands including higher minimum wages, affordable healthcare, quality child nutrition and education, fair criminal justice reform, and ending discrimination in all its forms.
